A group of inexperienced adventurers in transit must solve the murder of a friend in the village of Etranstor - also known as Plaguestone. The investigation leads to sinister alchemical experiments and mutated animals, as well as a mysterious plague that is slowly killing off the nearby forest. It soon becomes clear that if the heroes don't intervene to stop the evil, Peststein's downfall is basically a done deal! This adventure is designed for 1st level characters.
