INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. – Mix the putty/clay Modeling clay , properly until it is ready according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2. – Spread out the putty/clay, the modeling materials. For better results, smooth the mixture. *** We recommend using a flat rolling pin, without structure, for this purpose.
3. – Depending on the type of material, we recommend moistening the roll to avoid sticking to the roll.
4. - Move the roller with even pressure at certain points to ensure a consistent texture.
5. – Cut off the excess material on the sides with a sharp knife. We recommend letting the material dry beforehand.

MATERIALS:

There are many different putties and types of clay on the market and all can be textured with the right technique.
Modeling is usually done with these rolling pins and Polymer clay (Fimo or Sculpey type) fairly easy as polymer clay allows for easy troubleshooting due to the heat required for curing.
If the goal is to model structured bases, we recommend using MDF wood bases. It is possible to texture the material directly on the bases and then fire the model together with the MDF wood bases in the oven at 150ºC for 15 minutes. The MDF wood bases will not burn and are easily reminiscent of the smell of toast.
In the case of Epoxy resin putties There are various techniques to achieve similar results. The advantage of these materials is that they do not have to be fired, but can be textured directly.
When using Green Stuff , which is particularly sticky, it is advisable to moisten the surface of the roll or the mass with a little water before imprinting the texture.
Talc powder, or even directly applied modeling petroleum jelly ( LINK ), can also reduce the stickiness of the Greenstuffs be reduced.
Other epoxy resin putties, e.g Milliput modeling clay can also be used. However, these should not be moistened as it complicates the work unnecessarily. If Milliput seems too sticky, the mixture should be kneaded until the stickiness subsides.

CLEANING AND CARE:

After using the roller, it should be cleaned with a scratching brush ( LINK ) and plenty of water to remove any residue of the material used.

SECURITY:

Children should always be in the presence of a responsible adult when using.
