Treebeard is the greatest of the ancient Ent people, is incredibly old, and may have roamed the forests of Middle-earth since the beginning of the world. Since the Entwives were lost, Treebeard has paid little attention to what happened outside of Fangorn Forest, instead focusing on caring for those under his supervision. But should Fangorn be threatened, Treebeard will undoubtedly unleash his wrath.
Meriadoc Brandybuck, a hobbit often called Merry, is a known troublemaker and prankster. On more than one occasion he was responsible for setting off Gandalf's fireworks, much to the Gray Wizard's annoyance. But Merry is ready to help Frodo in his quest and sets out from the Shire into a life of adventure and discovery that will change him forever.
Peregrin Took, also known as Pippin to his friends, is a carefree hobbit who is content with his life of mischief alongside his best friend. But when Pippin volunteers to join the Fellowship, he doesn't know what dangers lie ahead - and that he will have to leave second breakfast behind in the Shire.
Treebeard is a natural leader for the Fangorn army list, both due to his Middle-earth background and his near-unstoppable power on the battlefield. He can carry Merry and Pippin into battle, as he did when he led the Ents' Last March, and the kit includes options to accommodate the two hobbits on the branches of his shoulder. Merry and Pippin are included in the set with stand-alone walking models - in fact, they're a little taller than usual because they recently drank Ent Potion, which gave them a growth spurt!
This kit consists of 63 plastic parts, from which you can build 1x Treebeard (which can be built with or without versions of Merry and Pippin "riding" him), 1x Meriadoc Brandybock on foot and 1x Peregrin Tuk on foot. It comes with 1x Citadel 60mm Round Base and 2x Citadel 25mm Round Bases.
