These colors combine the fluidity of a shade color with the color density and adhesion of a layer color. Many areas of a miniature can be easily painted with these colors and create a great effect! Skin, leather or wood effects are painted very quickly. The Contrast Paints are a base color and shade in one! The contrast paints can also be used over metal colors and change the base color, but still allow the metallic color to shine through.

The Contrast Paints have the greatest effect with a light base color and the best flow properties over the new Wraithbone or Gray Seer primers.
