Soulful machine monsters haunt the population of Tokyo's Shinagawa district, a mysterious corporation is pulling its strings in the background, and in the middle of it all are the freelancers. They are filled with the visions of a man who lived in the future and has now become a part of them. Or she becomes a part of him. Driven by these visions, they work on works of art that will help end the end of the world.
Digital abysses
Before the freelancers find out what the end of the world is all about, they have to take a journey that takes them further from Tokyo than they ever imagined. In the end, it will actually be about nothing less than saving the entire Earth, and everyone on it, from a fate worse than death.
