DAUGHTERS OF KHAINE: MORATHI

A creature of magic, manipulation and secrets, Morathi, the High Oracle of Khaine, the Shadow Queen, the great matriarch of the Daughters of Khaine, is an ancient being, a seer whose mastery of dark magic is unparalleled. In addition to her ability to summon the horrors of the Nightshade Realm, Morathi has used her power to give herself a beautiful form - a radiant aelf framed by outstretched wings of shadowmetal. Her supernatural beauty is such that her enemies stand before her, mesmerized by her rapturous allure. This is a deadly mistake, as Morathi wields her spear Heartrender with cruel efficiency, and her bladed wings are themselves razor-sharp weapons, capable of easily severing limbs or heads.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the parts needed to assemble Morathi. She comes as 2 different miniatures, both included: the High Oracle of Khain, her Aelf form, and the Shadow Queen, her true, monstrous form. The High Oracle of Khaine is an icy beautiful creature who wears ornate armor of leather and metal. In her gloved hand, Morathi holds her magical spear Heartrender aimed at an unseen enemy. Behind a large metal headdress, her long, snake-like hair falls down her back - up close you can see the vicious spikes and blades woven into it. Her wings spread out from her back, each tip dripping with blood.

The Shadow Queen is a whole different thing - she's almost three times as tall and her pose is noticeably more aggressive; This miniature is a great eye-catcher for a Daughters of Khaine collector. In this form, her fierce serpent aspect predominates, and the lower part of her body is a long, sinister serpentine form coiled around a stone pillar. Her upper half wears the same armor with the same headdress and heartrender - but her hair has been replaced with snakes and the wings are huge and scaly with chitinous tips ready to impale the unwary. On the base is an unfortunate aelf who has been turned to stone by Morathi's gaze and broken in half.

Morathi consists of 59 parts and comes with a Citadel 100mm Round Base and a Citadel 40mm Round Base.
