Deep down on the ocean floor, streams of hot water rise to the surface. Some of these streams are black, others glow white. In their cold, dark environment, they bring needed heat and minerals that enable countless small organisms to survive. This creates a unique ecosystem of fascinating deep-sea creatures around the deep-sea vents.

In Chimneys of the deep Players gradually build a unique ecosystem deep beneath the sea. They place tiles where they collect archaea, attack other players to steal their archaea, and collect shells to defend themselves. But be careful: If you run out of archaea, you are at risk of a shortage that can cause the entire ecosystem to collapse...
